Episode Notes

Just a little summary of what you can expect out of this episode:

First I will give you a definition of play, What it is, and how we use it.

Second, I will tell you why I think play is so important.

Third, Are some basic ways to relate to play, find play again, and utilize play for our overall enrichment.

Finally, I’ll tell you why I am her, and how I got here.

Play is where we all began. We happen to be hardwired to play like big play machines. Play may be seemingly purposeless but it’s where we develop our Resilience, Persistence, Creativity, and Concentration, just to name a few.

I named this podcast The Art of Play because like a master craftsman, I feel like as adults, play needs to become our art, as we have mastered the skill development, we move on to the distilled but ideal version.

If you create joy, you can more easily share or spread joy. My mission is to help people share more joy from their own lives with others. Giving hope, helping create, and fostering community.
